MCN runs entirely on the generosity and collaboration of a broad community of cultural heritage professionals. MCN and its volunteer Board of Directors work to nurture this community and help you discover new ideas and creative approaches to advancing digital practice in our sector.

  • Special Interest Groups (SIGs): SIGs provide MCN members the opportunity to connect with colleagues doing similar work in the field to explore collaboration opportunities,  develop new resources, or discuss ways to advance their area of digital practice. The SIGs represent a range of topical interests such as digital imaging, social media, and IT.
  • MCN-L Listserv (Email List): An online discussion list where MCN members and non-members may post inquiries, ideas, and announcements. Join MCN-L to get updates in your inbox and post a question any time.
  • LinkedInConnect with colleagues and join the discussion on MCN’s LinkedIn Group.
  • Social Media: MCN shares content of interest to the community on its social media channels, including Twitter(@MuseumCN) and Facebook.

And don’t forget our annual conference! Hundreds of attendees explore the latest advances in museum technology through workshops, panel presentations, and vendor demonstrations.
