Each will serve a three-year term, bringing fresh perspectives and a range of expertise to MCN’s strategic direction. Also renewing for a second three-year term is Max Evjen. Maria Paula Arias
Heritage Program Coordinator, Heritage BC (Vancover, BC)
Maria Paula Arias is a museologist and cultural strategist working at the intersection of culture, community, and digital transformation. As Heritage Program Coordinator at Heritage BC, she leads programs and partnerships that advance cultural equity, regional representation, and collaboration with Indigenous and community organizations. With a PhD focused on audience engagement and strategic planning, she is passionate about helping institutions understand their publics, embrace participatory approaches, and design experiences that foster inclusion and belonging. She is especially interested in how digital tools can strengthen relationships with audiences to create connections (not just access) and how technology can support more equitable and sustainable futures for the sector. Originally from Colombia and now based in Vancouver, Canada, Maria Paula is driven by a commitment to building bridges between people, institutions, and ideas; to imagine more connected and inclusive museum futures.

Amanda Dearolph
Head of Collection Information & Digital Assets, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (Los Angeles, CA)
Amanda Dearolph is the Head of Collection Information & Digital Assets at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) where she leads initiatives that bring together data, technology, and people to support the preservation and interpretation of museum collections. Amanda’s work focuses on making collection information more accessible, inclusive, and ethically grounded through the integration of systems, best practices, and people. She has contributed to publications and presented on best practices in collection information and demographic data management, developing digital tools and workflows, and the role of technology in shaping equitable museum practices. Amanda has a BA in Art History from the University of Florida and MA in Museology from the University Washington where she also received a certificate in audience research and evaluation.

Aaron Miller
Client Partner, Forum One (Philadelphia, PA)
Aaron has worked with museums for over two decades, both in-house and as a consultant, leading digital projects from concept through implementation and ongoing improvement. He currently oversees project teams working with the Smithsonian Institution, the National Gallery of Art, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, and many others. He began his career designing, prototyping, and managing the development and installation of interactive exhibits for museums such as the Centre Georges Pompidou, the Musée du Louvre, the Reina Sofía, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Aaron received his BA in Fine Art from Alfred University and his MA in Media Study from the University at Buffalo. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses on digital media and digital product development and is a frequent presenter at professional conferences.
