Program Co-Chairs
Program co-chairs work together with the board to build a dynamic conference program. They’re responsible for defining the call for proposals, managing the proposal review process, and building the conference schedule. With recurring meetings and online project coordination via Basecamp, co-chairs collaborate regularly with the board, conference planners, proposal reviewers, and onsite volunteers. We aim to have two program co-chairs. Both co-chairs will receive free conference registration.
Proposal Reviewers
Proposal reviewers help us read through and score session proposals. Currently, we plan to review proposals through June. The number of proposals assigned to each reviewer will vary based on the number total number of proposals submitted. We typically work with 20–35 reviewers.
Onsite Volunteers
Onsite volunteers help MCN provide an A+ attendee experience. Responsibilities include staffing the registration table, directing attendees at the conference venue, and assisting presenters during their sessions. The board, program co-chairs, and conference planners will define exact duties and shifts closer to the conference date. Onsite volunteers receive free conference registration. We are seeking up to 5 volunteers for this year’s conference.
