Changing the Museum Through Service Design

Evolving a human-centered museum requires a dedicated and dynamic focus upon visitors and organizational services. Drawing on tools and methods grounded in the methodologies of service design and design thinking, a human-centered museum considers needs across the organization. In this panel, practitioners representing perspectives from both “inside” and “outside” the institution share insights gained and lessons learned about applying design methods in the context of a museum.
